So... Hell's Kitchen finished about 30 mins ago. Its probably one of the only cooking shows I can watch here in SM because I have no cable here. I totally agree with Andrea getting sent home and not just because she has been getting on my nerves but she clearly does not have the experience. Just because you are yelling at people and being a well... nvm, it does not make you an executive chef.
I must say if I got the challenge that they go today, I myself would have shit my pants. A room full of chefs to try your food. Not just any chefs, but chefs from all of LA who are well known. It was just trippy to see Chef Mark Peel on tv when he walked into our kitchen the other day for some whole grain mustard. I would have thought of it as an honor to cook for all those chefs, but also feel intimidated and scared at the same time.
I have been extremely tired so forgive the briefness of my blogs...
I work this Sunday and next Sunday... come eat at Michael's for our mother's day brunch! www.michaelssantamonica.com
This Sunday is our 30th Anniversary party... rumor has it that there will be 400 people... I'd be lying to you if I said that I was not nervous. First off, this is the biggest party that I have done. Second, I assume some big named chefs will be there... heck that challenge that Ramsay gave them today... will occur for me on Sunday.
Good night!
