Chargers.Lakers.Thanksgiving. Work.

Forgive me for being MIA! It is party season at work and tutoring kids after you have been on your feet all day is quite tiring!
The Chargers are 8-3, on a 5 game winning streak and #1 in the AFC west after creaming the Broncos last Sunday! Today was no exception as the soared over the Kansas City Chiefs 43-14. I knew the game was over before the 3rd had ended and left to go to a friends party, but kept up with the game on my trustee BB. Although, at the beginning of the season the Chargers were pretty shaky, lately they have had their offense on point with Nanee, Floyd, and Jackson all stepping up their game this season. We have been hearing their names more and more lately. I love saying that LT is finally back and looking more and more comfortable rushing. Hardwick has been out since game 1. Although, I do think their defense has been amazing lately, which is why we are back in the game! I just hope after today Merriman and Weddle are back in time for the Browns game. Ok in short, it is late for me, but I am glad they are doing much better!
The Lakers have been AMAZING! The bench the past two games has been AWESOME! I must say I really really love the idea of Jordan Farmar and Shannon Brown playing in at the same time because they make a great team! Gasol has been back for I think 3 games and it is as if he NEVER left the game! Kobe, well Kobe is Kobe and always does amazing. Drew has been racking up his numbers. Artest has been an amazing asset to the Lakers. Fish I will always love him playing! I am so pumped up for this season! Here are the highlights of the night! But this was my favorite of the whole night!
The Lakers winning the Warriors, the Chargers winning the Chiefs and the Lakers winning tonight just made my weekend end that much better! I love it!
So for Thanksgiving me and my two little cousins made the following: Lemon Herbed Turkey w/gravy, a Herbed Roast Beef w/an caramelized onion wine sauce, roasted garlic cheese mashed potatoes, mascarpone cheesecake, ricotta cheesecake, chocolate swirled cheesecake, pumpkin pie, and creme brulees. It does not sound like much but it was a lot of work! I was just kinda mad that the pre-made pie crust I got was salty, GROSS! So I just made some pate sucre for our pumpkin pie. Turkey receipe to follow on next entry and any other ones that may be requested! Pictures to follow!
So like I said earlier I have been crazy busy with work. I have been trying to brew up a new dessert but have not gotten the chance to for I have been busy with keep up with just having desserts and parties. It is party season at Michael's and it is kicking my butt. Pictures to follow!
I say good night and have an awesome work week! Also thanks to my family, the Chargers and Lakers for an amazing weekend!
Eat well!
Sport it well!
